LeEco’s Letv Le Max OTA Update released for Indian Variant

Letv has recently launched a new smartphone i.e. Le Max in India priced at Rs 32999. The device comes with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB as its internal storage. It has a 6.3 inch IPS display with 466 PPI and 2560 x 1440 pixels as its resolution. It is powered by Qualcomm snapdragon 610 Soc 64 bit octa core processor coupled with Adreno 430 GPU. The device has got a new OTA update of version 5.5.014S with the following change log. You can also check the previous Update details of the device which we have covered here earlier.

How to check for OTA Update?

Step 1: Unlock your device and stay on your home screen.
Step 2: Now head over to the System Tools folder and click on it.
Step 3: In the System Tools folder click on System Updates, you will find the new system update details in the folder.

The File size of the new Update is 1.2 GB. Now click on the download icon. To download the update.

  • Fixed an issue in which camera force to close under certain conditions and the camera temperature warning is updated from 50 degree to 45 degree.

  • Fixed an issue in which content are too long to display completely when system language is English

  • Fixed an issue in which browser force to close

  • Fixed an issue in which video playback interrupted after unlock

  • Power Optimization & fixed typos for certain modules

    Once the file is downloaded it will ask for as reboot to install the update on your device. Now click on reboot and the Updates will be installed automatically on your device.


  • Before you install the update on your device make sure that your device is charged as the update cannot be installed in low battery conditions and while installing if the oS get corrupted the data on the device cannot be retrieved back.
  • It will take around 30 minutes to install the Update on your device. Once the Update is installed the device restarts and you can check the new Change logs.
