Samsung Galaxy S8+ gets First Firmware Update

Samsung has launched Galaxy S8 & Galaxy S8+ today in India. But the device was previously launched in the last month and many of the users has already purchased the device. Those who have devices in their hands can download the first firmware update for their smartphone.

How to install the downloaded firmware on your Galaxy S8+?

Step 1: Firstly download the update and Unzip the Firmware file.

Step 2: Download Odin v3.11.1,unzip the downloaded file and open Odin v3.11.

Step 3: Now press Power Button + Volume Down Button + Home button together and reboot the phone in Download Mode.

Step 4: Further, Connect the phone with PC and wait for blue sign in Odin.

Step 5: Now add the firmware file to AP or PDA and click on start button and wait for few minutes.


  • Before you click the start button make sure that the re-partition option is Not ticked/selected.
  • Make sure your device is charged to at least 50% before your proceed for the firmware update.
