Xiaomi has launched a new smartphone in Android One Series i.e., Mi A3 priced at Rs 12999. The device comes with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB as its internal storage and runs on Android 9 Pie out of the Box.This device is the successor of the previously launched Xiaomi Mi A2. SIM Card Insertion

Xiaomi Mi A3 comes with a dual SIM support with a hybrid SIM card slot. To inser the SIM on Mi A3 push the SIM ejector Pin and remove the tray. Now place the SIM card on the slot and push the SIM Card try back to the port. You have successfully intersted the SIM on your device and will be ready to use in couple of minutes.

Network Queries

Tethering Mode
Every device these days come with internet sharing option on it where you can share internet via USB/hotspot/bluetooth. To share the internet on Mi A3, open the settings and tap on Network & Internet. Now click on Hotspot & tethering and tap on Wi-Fi hotspot and toggle the off button to enable that on your device. You can also toogle the button adjacent to Bluetooth tethering/USB Tethering to share them respetively.

Change Connectivity Options
To change the Network connectivity on Mi A3, Open the settings and tap on Mobile Network, further click on the advanced and change the connectivity on your device.

Change Wallpaper
There are two ways in which you can wallpaper on Mi A3 smartphone.

Method 1: On Home Screen press and hold the empty space-a menu pop’s out. Now tap on wallpaper and select the wallpaper that you want to use and click on Set Wallpaper on the top apply that on your device.

Method 2: This is the general method where you need to open the settings then click on display and tap on change wallpaper to change the wallpaper on your Mi A3 smartphone.

One Handed Mode

Xiaomi Mi A3 has 6.01 inch Super Amoled display. Though the display size is huge there is no One Hand Option on the device.

The Xiaomi Mi A3 comes with a In Display fingerprint sensor which is present at the bottom of the screen.To Add a fingerprint on your device, open the settings and tap on security and location. In the new window tap on fingerprint. Now you need to setup the lockscreen to add fingerprint. Once the pattern or pin is added click on Add Fingerprint option and press and lift the finger after vibration on the sensor until it is added.

OTG Support
The device comes with USB Type C support and hence doesn’t support any OTG drive on it.

Xiaomi Mi A3 comes with triple rear camera setup where it sports 48 MP f/1.8(Wide) + 8 MP f/2.2(Ultrawide) + 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor with LED flash on the back. The front cameras on the device is of 32 MP with f/2.0 aperture and records videos 1080p @ 30fps.

The device is powered by a 4030 mAh non removeable battery and 18W Quick Charge 3 support. To use the battery saver mode on your device, open the settings and tap on battery. In the new window, click on batter saver and toggle the button adjacent to Tun on Automatically to enable that on your device.

Enable Battery percentage option
To enable the battery percentage on Mi A3, open the settings and tap on battery. In the new window, toggle the button adjacent to Battery percentage and enable that on your device. The Battery Percentage is displayed beside the battery icon on the top right.

How to Add Google Account ?
The are two ways in which you can add google account on Mi A3
The general method is where you need to add the account while setting the device. In the other method, open the settings and click on Accounts. In the new window, click on Add Account and tap on Google. Enter the Email ID and password and you have successfully added the account on your smartphone. It will take around 3-5minutes for all the google products to sync after the setup.

The device is water resistant to some extent but may be damanged if kept in water for long time.

Reset your Xiaomi Mi A3
To reset the smartphone, open the settings and tap on System. In the new window, click on Reset Options and further tap on Erase all data(factory reset)and enter the lockscreen password. The device restarts and data is cleared on the smartphone.

How much Storage is available when you boot the device?
The device comes with 64GB as its internal storage. But arond 49.9 GB of stoarge is avialable out of the box. Rest of the space is occupied by Predefined Apps and Android Operating system.

How much RAM is available when no apps is running in backend?
On an average around 1.6 GB of RAM is available out of total 3.8 GB. So around 59% of RAM is used while apps are running in the background.
