How To Link PANCARD with AADHAAR CARD

Indian GOVT has made it mandatory to link your Aadhaar card with PANCARD. The last date to link is 31st March, 2023 . If you haven’t linked your PANCARD with AADHAAR CARD you can follow the steps below to link them. We suggest you to link the details at the earliest as in the end moment the servers will get busy due to huge traffic and portals might go down.

Steps to link your PAN with Aadhaar:

Step 1: Open Income Tax e-filing portal – https://www.incometax.gov.in/iec/foportal/

Step 2: Register on the Portal with your PAN (if not already done).

Note: Your PAN (Permanent Account Number) will be your user id.

Step 3: Log in by entering the credentials i.e, User ID, password and date of birth.

Step 4: A pop up window will appear, prompting you to link your PAN with Aadhaar.

If you don’t find the option, go to ‘Profile Settings’ on Menu bar and click on ‘Link Aadhaar’.

Step 5: Details such as name date of birth and gender will already be mentioned as per the PAN details.

Step 6: Verify the PAN details on the screen with the details mentioned on your Aadhaar.  Please note that if there is any mismatch, you need to get the same corrected in either of the documents and then only you will be able to link them.

Step 7:  After validation, Enter the Aadhaar number and click on the “link now” button.

Step 8: A pop-up message will inform you that your Aadhaar has been successfully linked to your PAN.
