How to Capture Screenshot on Android Phone

Question: I am using a smartphone and i don’t have any idea of how to capture a screenshot on my device. Can you Help me with this?

Answer: Screenshot is used to save the data present on your screen in the form of image which can be in any formation i.e., png or jpeg formation. The captured image is then saved to the Gallery on your device. There many ways in which you can capture a screenshot on your device and it varies from device to device.

Method 1: This is the general method of capturing a screenshot. In this method, you need to press the power button along with the volume down button at the same time to capture a screenshot on your device. The screenshot is thus captured and saved to the Gallery on your device.

Method 2: If you are using a Samsung device then capturing of screenshot is bit different from any other smartphone as the Samsung device comes with a manual Home Button and this button is used to capture a screenshot on your device. Now you need to press the power button along with the Home Button to capture a screenshot on your device.

Method 3: Few of the device comes with a screenshot button in the power window, To capture a screenshot you need to press the power button firmly until the power window appears. Now tap on the screen capture button to capture a screenshot on your device.

Method 4: This method is the gesture method. In this method, the screenshot is captured by swiping three fingers from top to bottom of the screen. The screenshot is captured and saved to Gallery on your device.

The captured screenshot can be quickly accessed from notification panel on your device immediately after the capture and can be easily shared or edited on your device.
