Vivo X6 Plus Factory Reset & Hard Reset

Vivo has recently launched a new smartphone i.e., X6 Plus priced at Rs 33,499. Vivo X6 Plus Factory reset can be done using the steps mentioned below. The device comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB as its internal storage and can be expanded to 128 GB using an external Hard disk. It has a 5.7-inch IPS display with 386 PPI and 1920 x 1080 pixels as its resolution. It is powered by a 3000 mAh Li-Poly Battery and runs on Android Lollipop 5.1. If you are using the smartphone and would like to switch to any of the new smartphone launched by Vivo then always remember to factory reset your device, before you give it for others to use. You can follow the steps mentioned below to factory reset your smartphone.

Vivo X6 Plus Factory Reset

Step 1: Open the Settings and tap on Backup & Reset.

Step 2: In the new window window tap on Factory data reset option in the personal Data section.

Step 3: Further tap on the Reset Phone option which is at the bottom of the screen.

Step 4: If you have set any password for your device then you need to unlock your device to proceed further.

Step 5: Now tap on erase everything option to completely reset your device.

Once you tap on erase everything the device restarts and the data on the device is cleared and reboots as if you are booting the device for the first time.

Note:

  • Before you factory reset your device make sure that you have created the backup of the data available on your smartphone as factory resetting is an irreversible process and data cannot be retrieved back once you format it.
  • You need to take care about the battery level of your device before reset as it will take around 5-10 minutes to reset. So make sure that you device is charged for about 30 percent before you reset.
