How to Update Weather App using Mobile Data Connection on iPhone

iPhone has got a very interestiung feature to measure the temperature of the surroundings and keeps an on the weatherforcast. The only brainer with this application is that it cannot the update the weather conditions until and unless its connected to a Wi-Fi Network. Weather application on the iPhone shows the temeparature of your surroundings, wind speed and shows the climatic condition of the whole week along with the temperature conditions of every hour. If you are in office or your home you are connected to the WiFi but when you are out from your place and try to refresh the weather app then it will show you the blank screen though your device is connected to LTE/3G the type of network you use.

The reason for this problem is that your mobile data is not allowing your to refresh the page because the applications may be blocked in the background data page.So, you need change the settings on your cellular network to refresh the appplication on your device.

How to change the settings of your cellular network opn your iPhone?

Step 1: To change the options on your device, open the settings on your iphone and tap on Cellular option.
Step 2: In the new window, you will find the list of applications. Now head over to the Weather Option and toggle the off button to enable that on your device.

Now the Weather application will easily refresh and show you the weather forecast of your surrounding. Before you refresh make sure that the location services must be ensbled on your device. If you are new to iphone then you can follow the steps mentioned below to enable the location on your iphone.

Step 1: Open the settings from the app drawer and click on privacy.

Step 2: In the new window, you will find the privacy option, click on it. You will find the list of options on your screen.

Step 3: Further, you nned to tap on the weather app. Two options i.e, Never and always appear on screen. Now tap on the Always option.

This wiull ensure that the weather application can easily track the location of your surroundings.

When you are on LTE the data usage on the background applications is blocked for some of the applciations on your device so you need to change that to make sure that the data can be used by all the applications easily.

To get the up-to-date weather status you need to turn on the Beackground App Referesh for the Weather Application. To enable this on your device you can follow the below mentioned steps..
Step 1: Open the settings and tap on General option.
Step 2: In the new window you need to tap on Background App Refresh option below the Strorgae & iCloud Usage.
Step 3: In the list of applications head over to the Weather App and toggle the off button to enable that on your device.

Now you can know the exact weather conditions of your surroundings without any interruption.
